Since the early of this year a lot of changes been made for Motorola. January 4, Motorola Mobility has seperated from Motorola. They wants to be their own dependant coma.pany. But I wonder why would they keep the name Motorola ? If it is to use it for leverage? Well the company has won the CES award for their smartphone XOOM and so far bought mobile software firm 3LM,and building on Android handset.
Now this Motorola XOOM Tablet runs with google and Androids OS which the Mobility didn't want to because this Windows Phones like Os because It's not an open source. Christy Wyatt Corperate Vice President of Software said this will give the scenario that they can only offer commoditzed hardware could offer. Nokia uses the Windows mobile instead of Andriod because this will leave a duopoly in the market with Android and Apple. So there are a delay on upgrades for the new smartphone. Motorola seems to shut off using Windows Phones software. There was rumors about the Microsoft functionally ,which turns out to be false, that results on a huge set back. And the chance is probably lost.
