Online surveys?

Are there anyone who's acturally made money on these online surveys sites? If you are new to this topic let me explain. Ther are about a hundred survey sites online. You apply giving up your personal information; birth date, how many in your household and even their names and ages. Now there is a few that I see that dosent ask for relatives in your house but be caution of giving this type of information especially the ones that asking for social security numbers. I came accross two so far. Ok. once you sign up ,you'll get a list of surveys that matches your profile. showing the one you already fill out by joining and amount you earn. Once you pick out a survery that interests you ,you start the evaluation of the site. Remember you must fill out ONLY if you are truly interest in it. This means as if you will go to this site on your own and like to join membership. Now some of these surveys ad sites want personal info too, like credit cards and social security numbers. ALWAYS BE CAUTIOUS. DON'T GIVE OUT ANY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS.
Here's the other problem. by being safe you not going to get decent money of the good surveys. The ones that doesn't ask for personal info only pays from ranges $.50 to $3.00. Also, some sites doesn.t pay you till you reach their minium amount which ranges from$30 to $100. So guess how long that will take?
On the bright side, most of them has paid emails. You get emails about surveys and all you have to do is open and confirm of open it That's it. It's only ten to fifteen cents but hey it sure beats going through all that effort and getting bunch of email newsletters from all those visited sites. Any other opinions let me know.
Here's some relative materials ideas to help you before you start.
